This year we are delighted that our donations exceeded £91 million.

With flexibility and responsiveness being at the heart of our strategy, the Trustees made an increased level of core cost grants, reflecting the challenging circumstances for many charities as they continue to wrestle with growing demand and increased costs. While fundraising continues to be squeezed by inflationary issues.

2023 was another record year for donations to environmental charities and the Trustees also placed particular emphasis on smaller, grassroots charities with our community-focussed grants increasing by almost 40% on the previous year.
